The Nine Elements of Human Potential
Elements are the production resources of human potential: the capacities, conditions, and assets a person can use, develop, allocate, and convert into output.

Knowledge
Knowledge is the potential to navigate five levels of knowing: Known Knowns, Known Unknowns, Unknown Knowns, Unknown Unknowns, and Serendipitous Knowledge. Together they map what a person knows, what remains to be learned, what is carried outside awareness, what has yet to be discovered, and what may appear unexpectedly. Human potential expands as a person learns to move across all five levels.

Noticing
The capacity to detect what is present, changing, relevant, unusual, or easily missed. It directs attention toward details, patterns, signals, and openings that may carry meaning. Human potential expands when attention becomes more precise and a person learns to recognize the small event that may contain a larger possibility.

Overdrive
Overdrive is the potential to transform knowledge and awareness into sustained action through extraordinary effort, repetition, rhythm, and unwavering commitment. It gives intention a daily structure and keeps a chosen result moving forward. Human potential becomes visible when disciplined action carries an idea through resistance, uncertainty, and the long distance between possibility and reality.

Wonder
Wonder is the potential to remain curious, receptive, and emotionally alive to the world. It allows surprise, beauty, questions, and unfamiliar possibilities to enter awareness before familiar explanations settle around them. Human potential expands when a person approaches reality with fresh attention and allows curiosity to open paths that knowledge alone may never reveal.

Leveraging
Leveraging is the potential to recognize possibility within a coincidence, connect it with existing knowledge, and act while the opportunity is alive. It is the capacity that transforms an unexpected event into serendipity through interpretation and timely action. Human potential expands when chance is given meaning, movement, and a path toward value.

Epigenetic Memory
Epigenetic Memory is the potential carried through biological inheritance, childhood memories, lived experience, family patterns, and inherited paradigms. Early events often contain moments of serendipity that shape lasting interests, choices, and directions. Human potential expands when these memories and patterns are recognized, interpreted, and used as material for conscious development.

Distinctiveness
Distinctiveness is the potential to create Singular Value by merging different domains, skills, experiences, and forms of knowledge into one coherent contribution. Original work emerges where separate worlds meet and produce ideas, discoveries, ventures, and solutions that carry a personal mark. Human potential becomes singular when accumulated strengths are fused into something others can recognize and use.

GAP
GAP is the potential to live productively between the present self and the possible self through Growth, Autonomy, and Poise. It creates direction, supports independent choice, and preserves balance while a person develops. Human potential expands when the distance between current reality and future possibility becomes a space for measured action, learning, and adjustment.

Endowment
Endowment is the potential to transform knowledge, experience, values, and Singular Value into a contribution that continues to serve the world. It takes form through a book, method, institution, discovery, question, tradition, or body of work that others can carry forward. Human potential reaches legacy when personal value becomes Tikkun Olam and remains active beyond the individual.
These nine domains are not identical kinds of resources.
Some are inner capacities, some are shaping conditions, and some are organizing structures.
Together, they function as the production resources of human potential.
